Amana Dishwashers - Reliable and Affordable!

Made by Americas' trusted appliance manufacturer Maytag, Amana dishwashers will not disappoint. Offering only a few models: DDW361, ADB1500, ADB2500 and ADB3500; Amana ranges from low priced machines to mid-priced machines with nice features and options for the price.

That said none of Amana's dishwashing machines match the decorative styling of high- end integrated brands and models. That's not what this brand is about. What Amana does well is provide some nice features for the money.

Amana ADB1500

Consider this: the Amana ADB1500; a Consumer Reports Magazine "Best Buy" in their 2006 Dishwasher Ratings. With a price tag of around $330, this standard sized dishwasher offers: 2 to 6 hour delay start, quick wash cycle, electronic controls, 3 wash cycles and in-door silverware basket. (Note: Consumer Reports found this brand to be least repair-prone.)

While this machine does an excellent job getting dishes clean, as well as being easy to use, it is not the quietest, easiest to load or most energy efficient appliance around. However, according to Consumer Reports, Amana scores "good marks" in these areas.

Some of the Amana models feature: stainless steel tub, 10 wash options, rinse only cycle, quick wash cycle, sanitize option.
